Tracey attended Bodmin College before studying Sociology at the University of Plymouth. Upon leaving university, she briefly worked for the HSBC Bank before joining the Halifax Bank. Studying independently while working for the Halifax, she acquired her Certificate for Financial Advisers (CeFA) qualification in 2008, followed by her Certificate in Regulated General Insurance (CeRGI) in 2009.

From the Halifax, Tracey accepted a position as office manager/administrator with a firm of independent financial advisers based in Truro and subsequently joined The Demelza Group in August 2014.

In her spare time, Tracey enjoys a wide range of hobbies including music. She began learning to play the tenor horn at the age of four and is currently the principal horn player for the Mount Charles Band, with whom she has performed and competed at Championship Section level all over the country. She is involved as a volunteer with the youth training programme for the band and is also a former Parish Councillor.
